Web Hosting & Management
As well as our Web Design service, we also offer a Web Hosting & Management service. The Datacentre and Infrastructure for the hosting operates from multiple private racks located in a state of the art datacentre floor located in Dublin. The datacentre facility boasts true enterprise hosting specification with full redundancy at every level of its architecture.
During utility power outages the datacentre will run uninterrupted from UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems. Backup diesel generators provide continuity of service in the event of a power failure. All Power feeds are conditioned for surge suppression.
There are FOUR daily remote backups of all servers which are maintained for 2 weeks. Additional tape backups are stored off-site in a secure remote location in Dublin. Disaster recovery is possible in minutes, not the traditional hours or days.
The datacentre is protected and monitored 24/7 by onsite staff to ensure there is never any unforeseen connectivity, security or power failure issues.
The Web Management part of the service includes the setup of your new email address(es), e.g. you@yournewdomain.com, email client configuration, e.g. Outlook Express, to receive your emails from the mail server and 2 monthly website updates.
